SUP/SARCW - Residency Program 2011

The S.U.P/S.A.R.C.W residency program- was designed as a cutting edge experiential insight, to communicate the value of visual language and collaboration through arts practice in international communities.

For a six month residency, SUP will support two female artists at the Sultana Abdhulah Rowther College for Women, in the Muslim community of Melapanangattangudi in Tamil Nadu, India. Artists will engage in the research of their art practice to develop a body of new work for exhibition, both in India and the UK. Artists are also responsible for supervising arts educational workshops for the students at the college within the provincial community.
